The school design embraces a whole-child approach with immersion in literature, conceptual math, inquiry-based, daily science, project-based learning, arts, chess, blocks play, and frequent field trips.
With four schools in Harlem and the Bronx, SA Harlem 1 students take the state tests for the first time: every child passes math, placing SA in the top 1% of 3,500 testing schools in NYS.
School leaders from around the country reach out to SA learn from our schools, now 22 in total, after SA students maintain high proficiency on the more rigorous Common Core tests, in contrast with dramatic drops in other public schools.
SA provides free access to its elementary school literacy curriculum, subsequently sharing middle school literacy and history, project-based learning, and science and math units.
The Robertson Center opens to support educators and parents with in-person and online programs designed to help them advance rich, holistic learning for K-12 children.
Bringing together Success Academy insights in one entity, SA integrates events and training, access to curriculum and tools, and school-embedded learning.
We serve more than 20,000 students in 50+ schools, most of whom are Black and Hispanic. Our students achieve proficiency at double and triple the rate of their district peers.
Success students lead the nation in math learning at scale, with students gaining an additional 206 days of learning each year compared to peers.
100% of Success’s graduating seniors have been accepted to four-year colleges, with 69% accepted to a selective college.
